CBD Live Resin Sour Suver is extracted via cryogenic butane extraction from hand-bucked and fresh-frozen Sour Suver hemp flower. This method is designed to preserve the plant’s natural terpenes and cannabinoids, resulting in a concentrate that captures the full spectrum of the plant’s compounds. Live resin is noted for its rich flavour and potent effects, distinguishing it from other concentrates like isolates or distillates, which may lack the same vibrancy.

The product details, as provided by cbdboyz, include the following:

Genetics: A hybrid of Gorilla Glue #4 and Suver #8, combining earthy, spicy, and gassy notes with sweet and sour lemon-lime flavours.

Cannabinoid Profile:

CBDa: 83.04%
THCa: 0.06%
Delta-9 THC: <0.3%
Total CBD: 72.83%
Total Cannabinoids: 83.10%

Terpene Profile: The predominant terpenes are β-Caryophyllene, β-Myrcene, and Terpinolene, which contribute to its distinctive aroma and flavour.

Genetic and Strain Background

The Suver Haze CBD strain derived from Sour Suver is a Sativa-dominant hybrid bred by Oregon CBD. It originates from a cross between the Suver #8 phenotype and Early Resin Berry, known for its pungent aroma with notes of black pepper and sweet fruits. The Sour Suver Haze variant introduces a phenotype of Gorilla Glue #4, enhancing the strain with gassy and citrus notes. This results in a unique flavour profile suitable for both growers and consumers, with varying aromatic profiles reported, including sour lime, cinnamon, and skunky diesel.

User Experiences and Reviews

User feedback from platforms like Reddit and other vendor sites highlights the product’s effectiveness and appeal. A discussion on Reddit revealed positive experiences, with users describing the Sour Suver Live Resin as “delicious with a robust citrus flavour that is invigorating.” They noted smooth hits and balanced effects, providing mood boosts, calm sensations, and relief from anxiety and pain without overstimulation.

One user found it perfect for daytime use, appreciating its uplifting effects, while another praised its relaxing and mildly sedative qualities, suitable for both day and night.

Additional reviews from Sauce Warehouse and Akira Botanicals describe it as having a Granny Smith front with a back-end funk, a piney aroma with hints of blue cheese, and relaxing and mildly sedative effects.

Herbal Healers CBD noted its uplifting euphoric effect, blasting anxiety while keeping users energised, best dabbed at low temperatures. A user review on Sauce Warehouse also emphasised its true-to-life cannabis flavours, effective for chronic low back pain and anxiety, contrasting it with other brands that often add artificial terpenes.

Comparative Analysis with Other Strains

Comparing Sour Suver with related strains, Leafly notes that Suver Haze is helpful for sleep-cycle disorders and insomnia due to its high CBD levels. It assists in reaching 3rd stage REM, unlike high-THC strains that may hinder sleep quality. Other live resins, like Sour Lifter from Akira Botanicals, offer similar energetic and uplifting effects. Still, Sour Suver stands out for its high CBDa content and unique terpene profile, as in its detailed lab results.

Legal and Safety Considerations

Given its THC content is below 0.3%, CBD Live Resin Sour Suver is legal in the UK, aligning with EU regulations. This ensures consumers can use it without legal concerns, and the inclusion of third-party lab results, as mentioned on cbdboyz, adds transparency and safety. Users are advised to check local regulations and consult healthcare professionals, especially given warnings from sources like Herbal Healers CBD about potential drug test failures.
